he Wee Lowden was designed by George at the request of Gary Lightbody as a gift for Ed Sheeran. It is designed to be compact with a 610 mm scale length, and a soundbox that is 40 mm narrower and 5 mm shallower then the S model. However, the internal bracing and the choice of woods are such that the bass response is increased as much as possible to avoid the 'boxy' sound that most small guitars have.

The location of the bridge on the soundboard increases the guitars midrange punch and despite its more compact feel, the 12 Fret offers projection and vibrancy more akin to a guitar with a much larger body.

朋友升級到Lowden 50系列所以置換，整體狀態極佳。George Lowden 本人曾說 Bastogne Walnut 是他在常見的Indian Rosewood, Mahogany, Sitka Spruce 及Cedar 外，發現的其中一種優秀Tonewood 聲木，兼具出色的木紋及極輕的重量，如果是在追求極致清晰度的木結他，那麼除了頂級的Bastogne Walnut 外，就別無選擇了。

Bastogne Walnut 可以清晰地聽見每一個音符的顆粒，細緻反映演奏者的右手動態，這是我最喜歡的木材之一，George Lowden Original 系列的23上就使用了Walnut ，Cedar 或Redwood 與Walnut搭配本來就是不錯的選擇；而在50系列及35系列，Lowden Guitars使用了更高級的Tonewood，不只木紋驚人地漂亮，亦帶來了更出色的音頻投射及清晰度。
