Tom Murphy 在1999年完成‘59 Les Paul 40週年紀念限量版後，受到不少Gibson 迷的追捧，市場反應是超乎預期的好。所以在2002年Gibson 乘勢推出第一支Aged Artist Signature Model - Custom Shop Gary Rossington 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue Aged Limited !!

Gibson Custom Shop Team先向傳奇樂隊Lynyrd Skynyrd 結他手 Gary Rossington 借來由其命名為 ‘Bernice’ 的元年1959 Les Paul 結他，經過Tom Murphy 對結他所有細節部份包括琴身油漆、零件、划痕等都有詳細了解及掌握後，用近兩年時間，親自操刀復刻，將原年結他經過歲月舊化的質感及琴身所有細緻部份再次重新呈現在大家眼前。

而更值得一提是這支Gary Rossington 的簽名型號是由Gibson Custom Shop在2002年推出的Artist Signature 系列中首次推出Aged舊化復刻版本！在製作工藝及手工上有著更高要求！

此型號於2002年僅限量推出了250支，深受世界各地Les Paul吉他迷的認同，因而列入高端收藏品系列之中，目前能在市場上找到的機會也越來越低了！
